The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB/SEBA) has released a major Assam SEBA Recruitment 2026 notification for the posts of Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant and Junior Administrative Assistant cum Accounts Assistant on a contractual basis. This SEBA Junior Assistant vacancy 2026 is a golden opportunity for graduates in Computer Science and Commerce. The Common Recruitment Test (CRT 2026 Assam) will be conducted for selection. 📋 1. Eligibility Criteria for ASSEB Recruitment 2026
Age relaxation: SC/ST(P/H) → up to 43 yrs OBC/MOBC → up to 41 yrs
🎓 2. Post-wise Qualification & Extra Marks (MCA / CA Inter)
- Graduate in Computer Science or related subject from govt. recognized institute.
- Minimum 50% marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation.
• MCA extra marks SEBA → MCA or equivalent → +10 marks
• Work experience in Govt./PSU → up to +10 (5 yrs → 5 marks, <1 yr not counted)
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) from govt. recognized institute.
- Minimum 50% marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation.
• CA Inter SEBA recruitment → CA Inter pass certificate → +10 marks
• Work experience in relevant field (Govt/PSU) → up to +10 marks
✅ Important: Candidates can apply for both posts in one single application if eligible for Junior Administrative Assistant Assam positions. Inadequate qualification leads to rejection.
💰 3. Remuneration & Contract Terms
✔️ First 11 months (contractual period): ₹18,000/- per month (Fixed)
✔️ After 11 months: 6% lumpsum enhancement if re-engaged.
✔️ Absorption: Regularization as per provisions of the Board’s regulation.

- Further selection: Document Verification, Skill Test, Computer Test / Tally Test for Accounts Assistant (detailed notification later).
