The Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has released an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Instructors in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Assam. Eligible Indian citizens with valid Employment Exchange Registration in Assam can apply online.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of India and registered in Assam Employment Exchange.
- Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent + National Apprenticeship/Trade Certificate in relevant trade.
- Experience: 1 year Industrial/Teaching experience desirable.
- Age: 18 – 40 years as on 01.01.2025 (Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC/MOBC – 3 yrs, Ex-servicemen – 2 yrs, PwD – 10 yrs).
Selection Process
- Written Test (MCQ, 100 Marks, 2 Hours)
- Skill Test in concerned trade (50 Marks)
- Final selection based on total marks of both stages.
