About the Role

We’re seeking an Engineer to manage server infrastructure and surveillance systems (CCTV/NVR) for ONGC rig/site operations in Silchar. You’ll ensure uptime, perform preventive maintenance, and rapidly troubleshoot issues in a field environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer servers, storage, and networks at site.
• Install, configure, and support CCTV, NVR/DVR, and surveillance peripherals.
• Monitor system health, logs, and camera streams; ensure recording integrity.
• Perform on-site diagnostics, replace faulty components, and restore services quickly.
• Document incidents, changes, and inventory; coordinate with ONGC/site teams.
• Comply with safety, security, and data-handling standards at rig/sites.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in any technical field (IT/Networking/Electronics preferred).
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, IP networking, and basic storage.
• Experience with CCTV, NVR/DVR, PoE switches, and cabling best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting & documentation skills; readiness for field work.

Good to Have

• Exposure to ONGC or similar oil & gas rig/site environments.
• Basic scripting/automation and backup/restore familiarity.

Compensation & Timeline

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (as per experience).
• Location: Silchar, Assam, India.
• Joining: Preferably within 15 days of selection.
