🎓 Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for this post, candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science, or Geology as a subject,
OR - Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Must possess computer proficiency with knowledge in:
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Data management tools
- Internet operations
- DTP (English & Assamese)
- Must have a minimum of 6 months Diploma in Computer Applications from a Government-recognized institution.
📅 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years (as on 01.01.2025)
- Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST candidates as per Government rules.
📌 Duties and Responsibilities
- The appointed Field Officer will be stationed at the DDMA & Revenue Circle Office.
- The candidate will work directly under the supervision of the CEO, DDMA and DPO, and also under the Circle Officer.
- Responsibilities include:
- Coordination of disaster preparedness and response activities.
- Data collection, field assessment, and reporting during emergencies.
- Community awareness programs.
- Monitoring and implementation of disaster risk reduction (DRR) measures.
📄 Contract Details
- The contract is initially for a period of 1 year.
- It is renewable annually based on performance review and government instructions.
💰 Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive a fixed and consolidated salary of ₹28,500/- per month, broken down as:

✅ Selection Process
The selection process is merit-based and includes a Personal Interview and Computer Test. The total marks for evaluation will be 100, divided as follows:
- Marks obtained in Graduation: 50 Marks
- Knowledge of Disaster Management: 20 Marks
- Computer Knowledge: 20 Marks
- Interview Performance: 10 Marks
Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview.

- Time: From 11:00 AM onwards
- Venue: Office of the District Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Hengrabari, Guwahati
Reporting Time: Candidates must report between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. No applications will be accepted after 11:00 AM.
