📋 Eligibility Criteria:
1. Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026):
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (i.e., born between 02 July 2002 to 01 July 2006).
(Upper age limit is 26 years for candidates with valid DGCA CPL.) - Ground Duty (Tech & Non-Tech): 20 to 26 years (i.e., born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006).
2. Educational Qualification:
Refer to the official notification for detailed educational qualifications based on branch.
💼 Type of Commission:
- Flying Branch (SSC): 14 years (no pension entitlement).
- Ground Duty (SSC): 10 years, extendable by 4 more years based on merit and vacancy.
- PC (Permanent Commission) may be granted later depending on eligibility and IAF requirements.
💰 Pay & Benefits:
- Stipend during Training: ₹56,100/month
- Pay on Commissioning (Flying Officer): ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 + MSP ₹15,500
- Other Perks: Furnished accommodation, LTC, loans, canteen, sports facilities, insurance of ₹1 crore, and more.
📝 Exam Fee:
- AFCAT Entry: ₹550 + GST
- NCC Special Entry: No Fee
