Overview
The Department of Animal Biotechnology, College of Veterinary Science (Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara) is conducting a walk-in interview to recruit 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DBT-sanctioned project titled: “Development of a marketable probiotic consortium of lactic acid bacteria isolated from traditional rice beer Xaaj of Assam for pig”.
Position & Emoluments
Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) — 1 post
Essential qualification: Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences (professional PG courses acceptable).
Desirable: Experience in molecular biology, microbiology and animal cell culture.
Emoluments:
- With NET/GATE (or similar national exam): ₹37,000 + HRA
- Without NET/GATE: ₹31,000 + HRA
Terms & Conditions
- The post is purely temporary and can be terminated without prior notice.
- There is no entitlement for permanent absorption in the University.
- The selection committee reserves the right to modify, cancel or postpone the selection process.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
